Get ready, Marvel fans! The second season of Daredevil: Born Again is already generating serious buzz, especially after a sneak peek at New York Comic Con. Charlie Cox, our beloved Daredevil, is back, and he's not alone! Krysten Ritter is officially reprising her role as Jessica Jones, which has sent excitement levels soaring. The premiere is scheduled for March 2026 on Disney+.
The trailer, shown exclusively to those in attendance, dropped a major bombshell: Jessica Jones's return. She previously had her own Marvel series on Netflix and teamed up with Daredevil in The Defenders. But that's not all! Elden Henson, whose Foggy Nelson met a shocking end in the Born Again premiere, is also confirmed to return for Season 2. And of course, Vincent D’Onofrio's Kingpin will be back, looking as menacing as ever, even showing off some boxing skills in the trailer.
Season 1 of Daredevil: Born Again premiered in early 2025 on Disney+, bringing back many familiar faces from Netflix's original gritty Daredevil series. Charlie Cox, who has already reprised his role in Spider-Man: No Way Home, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and Echo, leads the series, which is Marvel's first M-rated show.
The story continues to unfold. Daredevil, the blind lawyer Matt Murdock, is up against Kingpin, who is now the mayor of New York City. Matt's close friends, Foggy Nelson and Karen Page (played by Deborah Ann Woll), are also back. However, the series premiere shocked fans when Bullseye (Wilson Bethel) murdered Foggy, sending Matt into a downward spiral and leading him to abandon his Daredevil persona.
Leading up to Season 2, the return of Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones was already announced. Horror icon Matthew Lillard is also joining the cast. And, there's even more good news: the show has already been renewed for a third season this summer.
The cast also includes Margarita Levieva, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, and Ayelet Zurer. Jon Bernthal, who played the Punisher in Netflix's Daredevil and his own spinoff, is also back, making his MCU debut in Born Again. Bernthal will also star in his own MCU TV special dedicated to the Punisher, in addition to appearing in next summer's Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
